MASKargo Transports One Of Canada's Most Comprehensive Art Projects Here

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 21 (Bernama) -- MASkargo Sdn Bhd has successfully transported one of Canada's most comprehensive art projects known as the Quilt of Belonging (QoB) from Montreal to the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) here. The Quilt was brought here in conjunction with the Commonwealth Association for Public Administration and Management (CAPAM) exhibition that is being held from Oct 19–21 in PICC, it said in a statement here Monday. Weighing 1.2 tonnes, the QoB is a 36-metre collaborative textile art project, a richly-hued portrait of the human family. Working in collaboration with Air Canada to bring QoB to Malaysia, the precious cargo was loaded on to flight AC874 on Oct 11 and thereafter on to Malaysia Airlines flight MH5 which flew from Frankfurt to Kuala Lumpur. "We are happy to work in collaboration with the members of CAPAM to bring the QoB to Malaysia," said MASkargo Acting Chief Executive Officer, Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi.
