Mass marriage registration on Valentine’s Day

BANGKOK, Feb 11 (TNA) - Bangrak district in Bangkok plans for mass marriage registration next Tuesday -- St. Valentines’s Day -- along with offering special gifts for lucky couples. Bang Rak district office in cooperation with Thailand Post will organise marriage registration services at the General Post Office building . The marriage registration service is opened from 8 am. to 4 pm. while couples can receive application form from7 am to 3 pm. Lucky draw will be held every hour to give away gold-plated marriage certificates to ten couples. Other gifts will be offered for lucky couples are air tickets, insurance certificates, dinner vouchers at famous restaurants and electrical appliances. Bangrak District Office is a popular place for couples to visit and obtain a marriage certificate as ‘Rak’ means ‘Love’ in Thai. (TNA)
