Message of Sympathy to Indonesian President

Pyongyang, August 7 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, sent a message of sympathy to Joko Widodo, president of Indonesia, on Monday in connection with huge human and material losses caused by a strong earthquake which hit Lombok Island of Indonesia. The message expressed deep condolences to the Indonesian president and, through him, to the victims and their bereaved families. It hoped that the Indonesian government would eradicate the aftermath of the quake as early as possible and make an achievement in the work to help the people in the affected area return to normal life. -0-
