Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The highest precipitation (161.7 mm) was recorded in Bayan-Uul soum, Dornod aimag in July of 2014, the Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology reports. The highest air temperature (+41.4°C) was recorded in Khanbogd soum, Omnogobi aimag, whereas Bayankhongor aimag’s Bayanbulag soum had the lowest (-4.4°C) in July. The strongest wind of 32.0 m/sec was observed in Bayan-Olgii aimag’s Olgii soum. For the acceptable level of air quality standards as of July 2014, daily average concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded 24 times around the West crossroad, five times around the 13th micro district, four times around the 32nd Circle, two times around the 1st micro district. The particulate matter less than 10 micrograms exceeded 17 times around the West crossroad, nine times around the Kharkhorin market, and eight times around the 32nd Circle from the maximum allowable concentration of air quality standard in July.
