Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology says that a maximum precipitation was registered in Selenge soum (36.0 mm) of Bulgan aimag in October. Zereg soum of Khovd aimag, Choibalsan soum of Dornod aimag and Zamiin-Uud soum of Dornogovi aimag had the highest air temperature (+24.0°C), while Tsetsen-Uul soum of Zavkhan aimag had the lowest (-30.0°C) this October. Wind speed reached 25 m/sec in Olgii soum of Bayan-Olgii aimag. xxxxx Daily average concentration of nitrogen dioxide in the UB city exceeded 30 times around the 13th micro district, 24 times around Kharkhorin market, 16 times around the 32nd Toirog, 14 times around the West crossroad, four times around the Offitseruudiin ordon, two times around the first micro district. Daily average concentration of sulphur dioxide exceeded 19 times around the 13th micro district, nine times around the 32nd Toirog, eight times around the Offitseruudiin ordon, four times around the first micro district, and two times around the West crossroad. Particulate matter less than ten micrograms exceeded 30 times around Kharkhorin market, 25 times around the 13th micro district, seven times around the West crossroad, and two times around the 32nd Toirog from the maximum allowable concentration of air quality standard in October 2012.
