Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Maximum precipitation (138.5 mm) was registered in Arvaikheer soum, Ovorkhangai aimag in July 2013, the Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology reports. Dornogobi aimag’s Khovsgol soum had the highest air temperature (+40.0°C), whereas the lowest at - 1 °C was recorded in Bayan-Olgii aimag’s Altai soum, in Zavkhan aimag’s Tsetsen-Uul soum, Bayankhongor aimag’s Jargalant soum, Arkhangai aimag’s Tariat soum and in Terelj village of Nalaih district. The strongest wind was at 28 m/sec in Olgii soum, Bayan-Olgii aimag. In the UB city, daily average concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded 30 times around the 13th micro district, 21 times around the West crossroad. Particulate matter less than ten micrograms exceeded 15 times around the West crossroad, 13 times around Kharkhorin market in Songinokhairkhan district. Particulate matter less than 2.5 micrograms exceeded three times around the 13th micro district, two times around the West crossroad from the maximum allowable concentration of air quality standard in July 2013.
