Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology reports that a maximum precipitation (66.1 mm) was recorded in Bayan-Uul soum, Dornod aimag in September of 2013. Dornogobi aimag’s Erdene soum had the highest air temperature (+35.0°C), whereas the lowest temperature (-14.0°C) was recorded in Otgon soum of Zavkhan aimag and in Bayanbulag soum of Bayankhongor aimag. Wind speed reached 28 m/sec in Bugat soum of Gobi-Altai aimag and in Manlai soum of Omnogobi aimag. Daily average concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the norm 19 times around the West crossroad of Ulaanbaatar, four times around the “Kharkhorin” market, two times around the 32nd Circle. Particulate matter less than ten micrograms exceeded the norm 21 times around the 13th micro district and around the 32nd Circle, 14 times around the “Kharkhorin” market, nine times around the West crossroad. Particulate matter less than 2.5 micrograms exceeded the norm four times around the 13th micro district, three times West crossroad in September of 2013.
