Method of Brewing Paekhwa Liquor Listed as National Intangible Heritage

Pyongyang, July 29 (KCNA) -- A method of brewing Paekhwa (one hundred species of flowers) liquor was listed as one of national intangible heritages in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. The liquor is peculiar in look, aroma and taste, as it is ripened with one hundred species of flowers. According to the classic book "Tonguibogam (Encyclopedia of Traditional Medicine of Korea)", the Paekhwa liquor is good for longevity. It contains vitamin B complex, iron, copper, nickel, manganese and other essential microelements. The Paekhwa liquor is popular not only among the Korean people but also foreigners. -0-
