Milipol Qatar 2018 Highlights Civil Defense Role

Doha, August 12 (QNA) - Milipol Qatar 2018 exhibition, which will be held at the Doha Convention and Exhibition Center on October 29 to 31, is expected to attract wide international participation that exceeds the previous edition after the merging of the Milipol with the Civil Defense exhibitions in one place. The organizers expect the 12th edition of the exhibition to highlight the importance of the civil defense sector in protecting lives and enhancing public safety, as the exhibition is the most important event in the field of homeland security and civil defense in the Middle East region. The organizing committee stressed that hosting Milipol Qatar 2018 and the Civil Defense Exhibition and Conference comes in line with the efforts to develop the exhibition and provide unprecedented experiences to exhibitors, visitors, buyers and industry professionals, as well as providing a unique platform for decision makers and defense and security professionals. The Committee pointed that combining the two exhibitions will result in a leading international exhibition in the areas of internal security and civil defense at the regional level, and will bring together experts from both fields in interactive dialogues highlighting new and emerging trends as well as best practices in internal security and civil defense. President of Milipol Qatar Committee Brig. Nasser bin Fahad Al-Thani said that the Ministry of the Interior has taken important steps to ensure the utilization of the latest civil defense systems in the State of Qatar and continues to raise awareness about public safety by organizing a series of leading conferences, exhibitions, lectures, and awareness and training programs. He added that the exhibition would witness the presence of a constellation of international civil defense personalities to highlight the latest solutions and smart products related to civil defense, as well as discuss the latest trends and best practices in the sector.
