Mining production last year

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In 2015, 24.1 million tons of coal, 14.6 tons of gold and 1.2 million tons of petroleum were extracted in Mongolia, reports the Ministry of Mining. Produced were 230.8 thousand tons of fluorspar concentrate, 1,334.7 thousand tons of copper concentrate, 6.2 million tons of iron ore concentrate, and 89.6 thousand tons of zinc concentrate. Last year, 1,477.8 thousand tons of copper concentrate, 5.1 million tons of iron ore, 11.3 tons of gold, 14.5 million tons of coal and 1.1 million tons of petroleum were exported.
