Minister of Development Planning and Statistics Meets Jordanian Counterpart

Amman, May 26 (QNA) - HE Minister of Development Planning and Statistics Dr Saleh bin Mohammed Al Nabet met here today with Jordan's Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Eng Imad Najib Fakhoury on the sidelines of the 2nd meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Planning Institute currently underway in Amman. During the meeting, the two sides discussed areas of mutual cooperation between the two countries and ways to cement ties between the two ministers in areas of planning, comprehensive development and statistics. Fakhoury pointed to the challenges facing Jordan, namely an enormous Syrian refugee's crisis, arising from regional turmoil. Al Nabet affirmed Qatar's keenness on enhancing cooperation and relations between the two countries. (QNA)
