Minister receives Turkish company officials

Manama, Aug. 21 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received a delegation from Asmakinsan, a Turkish company specialised in wind energy production. The minister briefed the visitors on their activities and projects in the field of wind energy production. They told the minister they wished to participate in the existing and future development projects in this field. The minister stressed that he welcomed cooperation with local and international companies in the areas of electricity and water services to meet future needs. The minister also said that the doors of senior officials in the country were always open to meet with investors and support them. The delegation members thanked the minister and officials for the welcome and the hospitality and their support of investors in the electricity, water and renewable energy sectors in the interest of the country and citizens. Acting Executive Director of the Sustainable Energy Unit Alexander Al Samahiji was also present.
