MINISTER OF ROAD AND TRANSPORTATION REPORTS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At the cabinet meeting held last Friday in Khutag-Ondor soum of Bulgan aimag, the Minister of Road and Transportation A.Gansukh gave a report on a construction of paved roads between the capital city and centers of Khovsgol, Omnogobi, Sukhbaatar and Dornod aimags. These roads must be completed this year. The road to Khovsgol province is expected to be put into use this month, other roads will open in due time because the financing and investments have been completely resolved, the Minister said. The construction companies must run the roads with high quality, this matter is in the center of the Ministry's attention, he added. In response, the Premier N.Altankhuyag strictly ordered related officials to complete the Ulaanbaatar-Khovsgol road this year. Present at this discussion were governors of Khovsgol and Bulgan aimags, and authorities of the enterprises-executors.
