Ministerial Meeting of ASEAN Regional Forum Welcomes Panmunjom Declaration and DPRK-U.S. Joint Statement

Pyongyang, August 7 (KCNA) -- A chairman's statement of the Ministerial Meeting of the ASEAN Regional Forum was announced on August 6. It said: The Ministers welcomed the Inter-Korean Summits held on 27 April, 2018 and 26 May, 2018, and also the Singapore Summit between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the United States of America (USA) on 12 June, 2018. They also welcomed the Panmunjom Declaration signed between Kim Jong Un, Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, and Moon Jae-in, President of the Republic of Korea (ROK), and also the Joint Statement signed between Chairman Kim Jong Un and President Donald Trump. The Ministers urged all concerned parties to continue working towards the realization of lasting peace and stability on a denuclearized Korean Peninsula, including through the full and expeditious implementation of the Panmunjom Declaration and the Joint Statement. -0-
