Ministry of Justice to cooperate with NGO

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Legality will be strengthened and the justice will be formed at the state service by abolishing the bureaucracy. The Ministry of Justice and the "Citizens’ Fair Court" NGO established a cooperation contract on the matter. It was signed Wednesday by O.Altangerel, a department head of the Ministry of Justice, and by Kh.Bat-Yalalt, a chief of the NGO. "A lawyer Bat-Yalalt is a prominent representative of the NGO who always pays attention to reforms of the legal sector and expresses opinions," Mr Altangerel noted, underlining an importance of civil participation in setting justice. The NGO leader expressed a willingness to support the legal reforms, and submitted to Mr Altangerel a draft amendment to the law on tackling petitions from citizens addressing state organizations and officials.
