Ministry of Mining to run rehabilitation

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A rehabilitation has been made in a half of areas destroyed by mining activity, some 9,751 hectares are awaiting this action, said the Minister of Mining Wednesday. This year, around one billion togrog are accumulated in the state budget for the lands recovery. The Ministry of Mining has taken a proposal from the Ministry of Nature, environment and green development which in detail says where exactly and how much lands must be "cured". A Minister's resolution has already issued on running the rehabilitation on 150 hectares in Nalaikh district, Nariin teel, Uyanga and Baruunbayan Ulaan soums of Ovorkhangai province, Bayan-Ovoo, Bombogor soums of Bayankhongor province.
