Mlipol Qatar Exhibition 2014 Opens Tomorrow

Doha, October 19 (QNA) - Under the patronage of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani the 10th Milipol Qatar 2014, the international exhibition for internal state security systems, will open tomorrow at Doha Exhibition Centre. The three-day exhibition, organized every two years, alternately between Paris and Doha, is the only exhibition in the Middle East region that displays the latest produced by international companies in the field of internal security. Participating in the fair this year are 261 companies from 36 different countries with an estimated increase of nearly 7 percent in the number of companies which participated in Milipol Qatar 2012. The exhibition occupies an area of 6055 m, an increase of 12 percent compared to 2012. Chairman of Milipol Qatar Committee Brigadier Nasser bin Fahd Al-Thani said in a press conference that the exhibition is one of the largest security exhibitions which attracted major manufacturers of security devices and weapons, explaining that it came as a result of concerted efforts, cooperation and coordination between the officials of the ministries of the Interior of the State of Qatar and the French Republic.(QNA)
