Model hospital to be established in Arkhangai

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Health Service of Arkhangai aimag has prolonged a collaboration with the Denan Project (Japan Save the Children) with an aim to create an inter-soum model hospital in Tariat soum. In the first turn, the aimag’s Health Service will hold a mid-career training for medical doctors and professionals of the soum’s hospitals with a financing from the Denan Project. Experts of the province's Health Service have organized together with the "Japan Save the Children" a health education campaign for the soum’s people and have given them related to the theme textbooks and materialsl. The Denan Project is a nonprofit, grassroots organization whose volunteer members secure the necessary resources to provide free medical care, potable water, agricultural training, education, and other critical services for the people of Denan, Ethiopia, and the surrounding villages, and to other impoverished communities in the developing world. Building on the strength of its volunteers and donors, the Project has expanded into Burkina Faso, Peru, and Mongolia from its inception in Denan in 2004. Working with regional government and nongovernmental agencies, its ultimate goal is to make specific communities in these areas self-reliant by developing and implementing long-term, sustainable solutions.
