MONGOLIA AND AUSTRALIA AGREE CODE SHARING

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador of Mongolia to Australia Mr R.Bold and the Secretary of the Department of Infrastructure and Regional development of Australia Mr Mike Mrdak have exchanged diplomatic notes in Canberra, bringing into effect the Memorandum of understanding on Establishment of arrangements to permit the provision of air services on a code share basis, signed between the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia and the Department of Infrastructure and Regional development of Australia. The arrangement paves the way for code-shared flights of airlines of both countries on domestic and international routes, opening new opportunities for the bilateral cooperation. The code-shared flights between Mongolia and Australia will strengthen and speed up business-to-business as well as people-to-people links between the two countries, reported Monday the Embassy of Mongolia in Canberra.
