MONGOLIA AWARDS WIPO DIRECTOR-GENERAL

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Director-General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), an Australian Francis Gurry was awarded the Order of Polar Star of Mongolia on July 22, upon the decree of the President. Chief of Staff of the President’s Office P.Tsagaan handed the Order. The Presidential Decree says that the high awards has been given to him as the recognition of his "valuable contribution to improving of the framework of intellectual property of Mongolia, to cooperation between the World Intellectual Property Organization, the specialized agency of the United Nations, and Mongolia, and to developing of creative activities and innovation".
