MONGOLIA BECOMES MEMBER OF CRIRSCO

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A president of the Committee for Mineral Reserves International Reporting Standards (CRIRSCO) T.Edmund together with a president of Geology and Mining Institute of Mongolia D.Damba inked October 15 a document on registering Mongolia in the CRIRSCO as its eighth member. They also approved a request to appoint executive director of the Mongolian Institute B.Oyungerel and a consultant of the Ministry of Mining D.Bat-Erdene as representatives of Mongolia to the Committee. CRIRSCO is an international organization established in 1994 in objective to coordinate activities of international standardization committees that report estimation of mineral resources.
