MONGOLIA TO CELEBRATE "DAY OF GIVING"

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The national “Day of giving” will fall on November 1. This day is to be marked for the third time. Several famous people will visit the city's secondary schools to meet with children and read them a written and illustrated by US writer Shel Silverstein "The Giving Tree" books which are distributed to schools in frames of a project. This book, published in 1964 by Harper and Row, has become one of Silverstein's best known titles and has been translated into more than 30 languages. This "Day of giving" started as a movement "It Is More Blessed to Give Than to Receive", now it has has become the national action. Ch.Enkhtuya
