Mongolia considering to appoint defense attache to Turkey

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The acting State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Kh.Batbileg welcomed the Defense Attache of the Republic of Turkey to Mongolia Gohan Ozbek on December 20. The sides underlined that Mongolia and Turkey established friendly relations in the defense sphere in 1999, and have been maintaining sustainability in the cooperation. Colonel Kh.Batbileg conveyed heartfelt gratitude to the Turkish Government and the Ministry of Defense for consistent support for Mongolia’s military reforms in the forms of non-refundable aid and others. He noted that the Mongolian side studying deployment of own defense attache to Turkey. The State Secretary expressed his confidence that the military cooperation of the two countries would progress at a stable pace.
