MONGOLIA-GERMANY MEETINGS ON DEFENCE RUN

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In a scope of the 2014 Program of Cooperation between the Ministries of Defense of Mongolia and Germany, an 11th consultative meeting was held in Ulaanbaatar on November 6. A delegation led a head of Foreign Cooperation Department of the Federal Ministry of Defense of Germany Colonel Christian Schmidt visited our Ministry of Defense on November 4-6. The sides discussed a process of the 2014 Program, developed a draft program for 2015, and shared information on Bundeswehr's help in trainings. At the consultative meeting on Thursday, the sides focused on international security issues, problems in their cooperation, and further development trends. Present were the State Secretary Major-General Z.Boldbaatar and all officials related to the defense, and the head of the Department for Security Policy of German Federal Ministry of Defense Vice Admiral T.Keller together with officials from the Department of Policy, Strategy and Operations. The same matters were touched upon at a meeting between the Vice Minister of Defense A.Battor and the German delegates.
