MONGOLIA-POLAND INTERGOVERNMENTAL COMMISSION MEETS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The first meeting of the Mongolia-Poland intergovernmental joint commission for the cooperation ran Tuesday in Ulaanbaatar. The meeting was co-chaired by Mr O.Chuluunbat, the Vice Minister of Economic Development and head of the joint commission's Mongolian side, and by Mr Darius Bogdan, the Under-secretary of State, Ministry of Economy and head of the Polish side. The sides exchanged information on present political and social-economic situation in Mongolia and Poland, and discussed opportunities to expand the relations and cooperation, for instance, in establishing an agreement on taking loans from the Polish government for aid with specific terms, building a factory of prefabricated constructions in scope of the loan, constructing factories with Polish technologies for processing meat and milk, planting sugar beet, implementing projects on producing agricultural machines. The also sides shared views on cooperation in the mining, railways, auto transportation, education, sciences, health and social welfare spheres. On fields of this action, a Mongolia-Poland business meeting was organized together with the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
