Mongolia takes presidency of IDEA Council

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ After a meeting with the SDC Director-General within the working visit to Switzerland, the Foreign Minister of Mongolia L.Purevsuren participated in the Annual Democracy Forum of the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA). During the forum, the Mongolian Minister officially took from Switzerland’s FM the presidency of the International IDEA Council for the 2016 tenure. Switzerland chaired the IDEA in 2015. In his opening remarks at the IDEA forum, Purevsuren presented works and measures to be done within the IDEA’s presidency.
