Mongolians in USA celebrate Naadam Festival

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On July 6-7, citizens of Mongolia living in San Francisco and Sacramento cities, USA, celebrated the Naadam festival dedicated to the 2222nd anniversary of the Hun Empire, the 807th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire and 92nd anniversary of the People`s Revolution. The Consulate General of Mongolia in San Francisco city Mr. P.Baasankhuu has extended greetings of Naadam festival to Mongolian citizens and has highlighted that an event celebrating Naadam Festival is too important for advertizing the country abroad. During the Naadam Festival,many national tournaments and events have beenorganized: national wrestling and archery tournements, races of various distances, competition of ankle bone shooting, painting contest, folk concert sport and etc.
