More than 6,500 visit Kingdom Masterpieces Exhibition in Rome in one day, organizers report

Rome, Dec. 02, 2019, SPA -- More than 6500 yesterday visited the exhibition "Antiquities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Masterpieces" in Rome, a record number of visitors in one day, also, marking the second highest attendance of visitors to Italian museums, organizers said today. The spokesman of the Ministry of Culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdulkarim Al-Humaid, explained that the exhibition "Routes of Trade in the Arabian Peninsula - Masterpieces of Antiquities of Saudi Arabia through the Ages" has great interest and interaction from the visitors. The exhibition, displaying more than 326 pieces, started in Rome on November 26, 2019 and lasts for three months. It contents samples representing history of the Arabian peninsula since the Ancient Stone Age till the establishment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud. --SPA
