More damages from three recent quakes in Thai North

CHIANG RAI, THAILAND, July 16 (TNA) - More damages were reported in three recent earthquakes in the Thai North, especially in Chiang Rai Province, including the latest one with 4.3 magnitude on the Richter scale on Tuesday night, happening at around 8:30pm. Local officials on Wednesday found cracks at many houses in Ban San Kan Haew of Chiang Rai's Mae Lao District. Local villagers reported damage at three houses, in addition to over 80 houses in the village which were damaged in the earlier 6.3-magnitude earthquake on May 5, with its epicenter detected in Chiang Rai. Local people are frightened with aftershocks which have kept happening 2-3 times daily over the past couple of months and they must leave their doors open around the clock so that they can run out for life immediately whenever a new quake strikes.
