MP derides Netanyahu for protesting to Japanese PM over diplomatic initiative

Tehran, June 10, IRNA – Member of Majlis Commission for Foreign Policy and National Security Alaeddin Borujerdi on Monday derided Israeli Benjamin Netanyahu for protesting to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe over his imminent visit to Tehran to take diplomatic initiative for de-escalation between Tehran and Washington. "All the pressures of the US on Iran aims to force Iran change its regional policies and missile defense on the flimsy pretext of nuclear bombs," said Alaeddin Borujerdi regarding Netanyahu phone call to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe before his imminent visit to Iran. With Iran's warnings, the US retreated little by little, which is a house word now in the political centers in the world; however, they continue to pressure Iran though other ways, said Borujerdi. Saying that a part of US president Donald Trump's moves against Iran made under the pressure of the Zionist lobby, he added that the Zionists are worried about the happening in the world; they even worry that the current escalation may lead to normalization of Iran-US relations. "Of course, that’s not possible because Iran will not interact with them for the US violates International Law." "China, Russia, and India kept their ties with Iran despite US pressures and the Zionist regime is worried that Japan will join the team." He said that Israel is worried about its own long and the med-term prospects, adding that they totally feel and realize the developments of the region and Palestine, which is not unnatural to convey the humanitarian plight of the Palestinians to the Japanese prime minister.
