MPs ask Pakistan to help release 5th Iranian border guard

Tehran, April 9, IRNA – Members of Parliamentˈs National Security and Foreign Policy Commission on Tuesday asked Pakistan to help release the remaining abducted Iranian border guard. ˈIran will give proper response to the possible murder of the fifth kidnapped border guard,ˈ he noted. Javad Karimi Qoddousi, another member of the commission maitained that there is no body, film or any other document to confirm the martyrdom of Jamshid Danaeifar. Abbasali Mansouri another senior MP in the commission underlined that the possibility of Jamshid Danaiifarˈs death is very weak. On February 6, five Iranian border guards (Sajjad Zahani, Mohammad Nezami, Ramin Hazrati, Jamshid Teimouri and Jamshid Danaeifar) were kidnapped by members of the Jeish-ul-Adl terrorist group in Jakigour region of Iran’s southeastern province of Sistan and Balouchestan and then were taken to Pakistan. Terrorists have claimed that they have executed Jamshid Danaeifar in late March. Iranian officials, however, have neither confirmed nor denied reports on his death arguing there was no evidence in this regard. Other four abducted border guards got back home on April 6 following series of ˈcoordinated operationsˈ made by Iran’s security, police and border forces as well as its ministries of foreign affairs and information and Sistan and Balouchestan Governorˈs Office.
