MR R.BOLD BECOMES FIRST MONGOLIAN AMBASSADOR TO VISIT TASMANIA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Australia Mr R.Bold toured Tasmania on June 15-16, 2015 and made call on the Governor of Tasmania, Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Kate Warner AM. It was published on Friday on the website of Mongolian Embassy in Australia. Mr Bold also met Elise Archer MP, the Speaker of the House of Assembly; Ron Christie, the Deputy Lord Mayor of Hobart Alderman; and Joanne Freeman, Director of International Trade at Department of State Growth. He has visited the University of Tasmania and spoke about Mongolia to the faculty members of the University of Tasmania. His visit program included a trip to the Museum of Old and New Art as well as the historic site of Port Arthur. Five Mongolians currently live in Tasmania. The Little Asia – Mongolian restaurant in Devonport hosted Ambassador and his delegation during their stay in Tasmania.
