Multi-disciplinary medical team honoured

Manama, Nov. 26 (BNA): The Ministry of Health (MOH)'s Undersecretary Dr. Ayesha Mubarak Bu Enq deputized Assistant Undersecretary for Hospitals Affairs, Dr. Waleed Al Mani', in attending the ceremony for honouring the multi-disciplinary team manning the sickle cell anemia clinic. The event marks the elapse of two years since the clinic which is the first-of-its-type clinic in the Middle East region was established in compliance with the directives of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. The medical utility reflects the unlimited attentiveness and support from the Kingdom's leadership to boost the healthcare services provided to this category of patients to ameliorate the quality of their livelihood and enable them to effectively and efficiently contribute into the nation's development and involve them in community activities and functions.
