MWL Supports Saudi Arabia's Foreign Ministry Statement, Regarding Report Submitted to Congress About Killing of Saudi Citizen Jamal Khashoggi

Makkah, Feb 27, 2021, SPA -- The Muslim World League (MWL) affirmed its full support for the statement issued by the Foreign Ministry of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia regarding the report that was submitted to the US Congress about the murder of Saudi citizen Jamal Khashoggi. MWL Secretary General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa stressed the MWL rejection of the inductions included in the report. He also stressed the MWL's full support for the statement issued by the Foreign Ministry of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which confirmed what had already been issued by the competent authorities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The MWL's statement affirmed the confidence of the Islamic World in the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all the measures it takes, including what relates to its right in this sovereign matter, with the categorical rejection of any interference that would prejudice this right under any pretext. --SPA
