Najafi Off To Spain To Attend 34th Fitur

Tehran, Jan 22, IRNA – Vice-President and head of Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) Mohammad Ali Najafi left Tehan for Spain on Tuesday to attend the 34th International Tourism Fair due to open on January 22-26. Najafi is scheduled to meet and confer with Spanish prime minister and secretary-general of the World Tourism Organization. Meanwhile, Najafi will meet Spanish minister of industry, energy and tourism on the sidelines of the inaugural ceremony of the Fitur. Najafi and his three-member entourage will attend a formal luncheon to be held in his honor by the UNWTO. On the first day of his visit to Spain, Najafi will attend a press conference to brief reporters on issues concerning his mission. Najafi is to hold talks with Spanish prime minister and director of Spain National Heritage Organization as well as UNWTO Secretary-General Talib al- Rifai. On the second day of stay in Spain, the Iranian delegation will attend a Symposium of UNWTO Knowledge Network and the Fitur methods and export and International Tourism Opportunities./end
