Najib Arrives In London For Two-Day Working Visit

From JAMALUDDIN MUHAMMAD LONDON, Jan 26 (Bernama) –- Najib Razak (two right) arrived here Sunday for a two-day working visit. The Prime Minister and his wife Rosmah Mansor who landed at the Luton Airport at 3.15am (11.15am Sunday in Malaysia) were greeted on arrival by Malaysian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Ahmad Rasidi Hazizi. Najib arrived here from Riyadh after attending the funeral of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia who passed away on Friday. The prime minister had earlier cut short his trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos following the death of the Saudi Arabian monarch. Najib will be walking down memory lane when he returns to his former college – Malvern College in Worcestershire – to officiate the Razak Science Centre there Monday. The centre consists of 18 state-of-the-art laboratories, including a showcase laboratory and extra prep rooms. Najib pursued his secondary level from 1968 to 1971 at the college, a co-educational boarding and day school founded in 1865 and is one of the United Kingdom’s leading independent school.
