NASA thanks Russia’s Roscosmos for returning US astronaut to Earth

NEW YORK, March 31. /TASS/. The United States’ National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is grateful to Russia’s Roscosmos state space corporation for safely returning US astronaut Mark Vande Hei to Earth, NASA’s Associate Administrator of the Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate Kathy Lueders said at a virtual press conference on Thursday. "We safely brought Mark Vande Hei home, thank you to our Roscosmos partners," she said. "We're so happy that he's able to be back in Houston with his NASA family and his family," Lueders added. On March 30, Vande Hei returned to Earth in a Soyuz capsule together with Russian cosmonauts Pyotr Dubrov and Anton Shkaplerov. Read more
