Nat’l council for ASEM Summit meets

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Chaired by the Prime Minister, the national council for organizing the 11th Summit of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) held Tuesday its second meeting. The Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Purevsuren reported that the summit plans to release a statement of the ASEM Summit’s Chairman and the Declaration of Ulaanbaatar. The ASEM Summit Chairman’s statement is expected to reflect achievements of the ASEM members in their relations and cooperation and conclude mistakes of the last 20 years, whereas the Declaration will reflect a concept focused on the future and tendencies of state and governmental leaders. It is considered that a successful organization of the ASEM Summit will raise Mongolia's reputation in the world and will create nice conditions for attracting foreign investments and for augmenting a tourists flow. The national council of the ASEM Summit decided to hold its next meeting this month.
