National Action Charter, historic milestone

Manama, Feb.13 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received cables of congratulations from ministers and senior stated officials marking the 15th anniversary of the National Action Charter. They took pride in the landmark achievements ever since HM the King embarked on the pioneering reform project which consolidated Bahrain’s standing in the regional and international arenas. "The referendum on the National Action Charter was a defining historic moment which put Bahrain on the path of progress, freedom, democracy and justice, in line with the provisions of the constitution and the rule of the law", they said. His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier also received congratulatory cables.
