National Day of Russia Observed

Pyongyang, June 13 (KCNA) -- Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, hosted a reception at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Club Tuesday on the national day of the Russian Federation. Present there on invitation were Kim Yong Jae, minister of External Economic Relations, Kim Ik Song, director general of the General Bureau for Affairs with Diplomatic Corps, So Ho Won, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who is chairman of the DPRK-Russia Friendship Association, officials concerned and representatives of foreign embassies and international organizations and military attaches of embassies here. Staff members of the Russian embassy were on hand. Speeches were made there. Earlier, a similar reception took place at the Russian consulate general in Chongjin. -0-
