National Media Council presents shield to Sharjah Ruler

Sharjah (WAM): The National Media Council (NMC) yesterday presented a shield and photo of the monument to H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah when he opened the 12th edition of the Sharjah Heritage Days. The monument was launched by Sharjah on the occasion of celebrations of the Sharjah as capital of Islamic Culture in 2014. Sheikh Sultan commended the efforts exerted by the NMC, appreciating the gift and the NMC's participation in the Sharjah Heritage Days 2014. The Sharjah Office of the NMC participated in the Sharjah Heritage Days 2014 under the theme: "Islamic Heritage ... One Tent". Its heritage pavilion features photographs of the Emirate of Sharjah and Islamic architecture, which characterise the emirate. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
