Navy Outpost In Southeast Aceh Receives Patrol Boat

BLANGPIDIE, ACEH, June 19 (Antara) - The navy's outpost in the regency of Southwest Aceh has received a patrol boat to help ensure sea security in the district. Commander of the navy post in the regency of Southwest Aceh Second Lieutenant Ajat Sutrajat said the new patrol boat was sent by the Navy Headquarter to the Simeulue navy base, which placed it at the outpost in Southeast Aceh. Ajat Sutrajat said the patrol boat would help the post in facing any threat to district security from the sea. "So far we have no floating equipment . The personnel of the navy outpost had to carry out their duty in community development in the coastal areas through land patrols," he said here on Saturday . The navy personnel helped to make sure that the fishermen have proper documents before going to the sea to avoid problem with the sea guard. "With the patrol boat, the navy outpost would regularly carry out sea patrol more effectively in the district," Ajat said. The navy has a duty to prevent illegal fishing such as fishing with explosive that would damage the ridges of rock other sea creatures .
