NCPO checks IP addresses of social media users for national reconciliation

BANGKOK, June 9 (TNA) - Thailand's army-led National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) says it needs to check IP addresses of social media users to create reconciliatory atmosphere in the country. NCPO Deputy Spokesman Colonel Winthai Suvaree told journalists on Monday that authorities still need to closely check the IP addresses of social media users to create reconciliatory atmosphere, as political comments were posted through social media. The users include the so-called Seh Nam-ngern or the Blue Chief-of-staff who supports the People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) and opposes exiled ex-Thai prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.(TNA)
