NCPO follows up public agencies' tasks

BANGKOK, June 2 (TNA) - The army-led National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) is following up the work of public agencies and introducing additional policies. M.L. Panadda Diskul, Acting Permanent Secretary for the Prime Minister's Office, told reporters of the information on Monday morning, before attending an NCPO meeting, chaired by NCPO and Army Chief General Prayuth Chan-ocha, at the Royal Thai Army headquarters in Bangkok. M.L. Panadda, who is also Deputy Permanent Secretary for Interior, said that the NCPO is also promoting unity among government officials so that they will become a good example for national reconciliation among the general public. M.L. Panadda revealed that he will discuss regulations and guidelines for work with Government House's officials on June 5 and organize religious ceremonies for the blessing of the Government House and its officials. Among govenment officials working at the Government House include former national police chief Police General Adul Saengsingkaew, who is now an NCPO deputy chief. According to the senior official, he has had no idea when the new government will assume office at the Government House. (TNA)
