Nepalese media activist says OANA meeting in Tehran was promising

Tehran, IRNA – Managing Director of Nepal’s National News Agency (RSS) Dharmendra Jha has said that the 18th General Assembly meeting of the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agency (OANA) in Tehran was promising of expansion of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the member news agencies. Jha made the remarks in an interview with IRNA correspondent on the sidelines of the meeting in the Iranian capital. He hailed the level of the meeting, noting that it was one of the best meetings he had so far attended. He also noted that the Tehran meeting promoted hopes among member agencies for a better future. Jha said that during the meeting, the participants shared their experiences about the way they worked during the Coronavirus pandemic. He also noted that during the official meetings and the bilateral ones held on the sidelines of the event, they had good talks on how to tackle the new challenges on the face of media.
