New eco district to be established in Erdenet city

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In Erdenet city there will be built apartments for 3500 families by 2020. This new ecodistrict will be erected by Finep group from the Czech Republic and the national company “Ih khaadiin tsuvaa” LLC. The Minister of Construction and Urban development Ts.Bayarsaikhan, administrators of Orkhon province and Erdenet mining corporation have participated in the foundation stone laying ceremony for the new ecodistrict. Totally over MNT 10 billion will be spent from the State budget and apartments for 200 families will be ready for occupancy this year when financing of three billion tugrugs for building the infrastructure will be approved. The Minister of Construction and Urban development Ts.Bayarsaikhan said that “ We are giving support in building the infrastructure, so we will demand to sell apartments from 20 to 25 percent cheaper than the price per m2 in provinces ”.
