News from Sukhbaatar province

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 100th anniversary of the first worshiping of Altan Ovoo Saint mountain by the State decree will be organized on August 9. It will be held in the centerl of Dariganga soum. In the last year, Sukhbaatar province has made the state festival for worshipping of “Altan ovoo”. In 2013,will be organized various activities such as tourl “Pearl pendant” and scientific conference. In the conference will participate scientists and researchers specialized in custom, household, culture, history and archeological finds of Dariganga ethnic groups. The organizers are planning to display an exhibition of largest archeological findings, silver arts, paintings, silver arts, paintings, books related to history of Dariganga. During the conference, will be discussed issues on establishing researching center of Dariganga and to print a book featuring brief history of Dariganga. A center of Dariganga soum will be furnished as the model soum and will be established a parking place for 1000 cars.
