Newspapers: Al Zaeem Air College is Thriving Academic Milestone in Graduating Best Pilots

Doha, January 28 (QNA) - In their editorials on Thursday, the Qatari newspapers highlighted the graduation ceremony of the 8th batch of students of Al Zaeem (Leader) Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air College, which was patronized by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani at Al Udeid Air Base on Wednesday morning. The newspapers noted that the graduation of this new batch affirms the keenness of the State of Qatar, under the wise leadership of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, on the continuous development of all branches of armed forces, especially the air force, to prepare the Qatari youth to bear the responsibility of defending their homeland and to be part of the State's military and defense system. For its part, Al-Raya newspaper said that the HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani patronizing the 8th batch of students of Al Zaeem (Leader) Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air College emphasizes that the leadership takes interest in the nation's youth, as well as highlights the importance of developing, qualifying, training and arming the Qatari military forces in all its various branches. Qatar's wise leadership realizes that the development in various military and civilian fields is the ultimate goal the country is seeking, the paper said, adding that Qatar is keen to reach its goal by implementing plans and strategies in order to qualify the officers in Qatari armed forces in all branches, and rehabilitate the infrastructure of the military colleges. The paper pointed out that the graduation of this batch, which included 85 students; 71 pilots and 14 from support specialties, in addition to 10 from the State of Kuwait and 2 from the Republic of Rwanda, emphasizes the significance of this college regionally and globally, which gives the Qatari nation the right to be proud of the country's military accomplishments in regards to graduating national, competent pilots and professional cadres. The paper also explained that the success of the college and its obtaining of an internationally prestigious position in this field came in accordance with the thoroughly-studied plans and strategies based on the wise leadership's keenness to train and qualify the Qatari elements of armed forces in all its various branches. The paper concluded its editorial by saying that the Qatari armed forces continue to prepare the Qatari youth to bear the responsibility of defending the homeland through continuous work on modernization as well as keeping pace with the latest technology in the field of armament and management, in addition to the continuous development of equipment and educational curricula in military institutes and colleges. For it's part, Al-Sharq newspaper said that HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani patronizing the graduation ceremony of the 8th batch of students of Al Zaeem (Leader) Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air College at Al Udeid Air Base on Wednesday comes within the framework of HH's interest in armed forces and the importance of strengthening the military and security capabilities of the state. The paper expressed its pride in elite pilots and their colleagues in the supporting disciplines who constitute a real addition to the armed forces after they received training using the latest technology and in accordance with the best international standards. Al-Sharq indicated that, like Al-Zaeem College, which has become a leader in the region in the field of aviation and air support specialties, Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College, which is one of the best military colleges in the region with a world-class reputation, is also preparing to graduate a new batch who completed their training and courses to undertake their full role in the military units and security services, equipped with knowledge, values of honor, and loyalty to the homeland. The newspaper concluded by saying that these Qatari pilots and officers in the various military units are a part of an amazing development in military forces, as they constantly participate in joint training and exercises with all major countries, and are keen to keep up with the latest international standards, within the framework of continuous development to enhance their capabilities. For its part, Al-Watan newspaper highlighted in its editorial, the graduation ceremony of the 8th batch of students of Al Zaeem (Leader) Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air College, which HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani patronized at Al Udeid Air Base on Wednesday morning. The newspaper noted the pride expressed by HH the Amir in the graduation of new pilots. Al-Watan also highlighted HH the Amir's visit to the aviation medical center of the Qatari Amiri Air Force at Al Udeid Air Base to see the medical equipment and health services provided by the center to the various air forces and crews. During the visit, HH the Amir listened to a briefing about the center's clinics and their integrated health services, including fitness examinations and various treatments according to specializations, in addition to flight simulators and specialized theoretical and practical training methods, the newspaper added. The Qatari daily said that the graduation ceremony witnessed an air show of with a number of aircraft of the Qatari Amiri Air Force, such as Rafale, Mirage, C-130 and C-17 transport aircraft and Agusta 139 helicopters. Moreover, Al Zaeem Colleges aircrafts took part in the show using PC-21, Super Mushshak and the H 125 helicopters. Al-Watan concluded its editorial by saying that Al Zaeem Air College has become one of the best colleges in the field of pilot training and air support specialties, and it provided its students with all the capabilities over the years of study to qualify them and refine their military and academic personalities and consolidate their sublime values, so that they would be the ideals and role models in all positions of service and duty .(QNA)
