Next round of talks on Iran to be held before Dec 20

MOSCOW, December 8. /TASS/. European chief diplomat Federica Mogherini plans to participate in the talks between the six parties and Iran on the ministerial level that will be held before December 20, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told reporters on Monday. The next round of the talks will be held before December 20, but not in Vienna, he said. “It will be surely held before the New Year, but not in Vienna,” he said. “The 20th is already a little late, and so, it will be before December 20. It will be decided during next few days,” Ryabkov said. “Catherine Ashton will continue her coordination, and Federica Mogherini plans to personally participate in the events on the ministerial level,” he said. “Everything indicates decisiveness not to lose the pace and finalize what is brought to a high degree of readiness, but not settled completely yet,” he added. “We will participate with full responsibility. There is no accurate information about the date and place yet,” Ryabkov said. “Not in Vienna, in another place. It is not clear yet. There is no agreement so far,” he added. Read more
