Next summit of Eurasian Economic Union will take place this December in Moscow

BURABAI /KAZAKHSTAN/, October 16. /TASS/. The next summit of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will take place in Moscow in December 2015. Time was agreed by EAEU leaders at the summit meeting on Friday. "This year - Moscow, in December," President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. The exact date of the summit will be agreed later on through diplomatic channels, he added. Russian President Vladimir Putin said Russia is ready to host the summit and invited all the members to visit Moscow. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan also suggested combining the said summit with the summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). The President of Belarus agreed that this topic should be discussed and asked the head of the Eurasian Economic Commission Victor Khristenko to inform CSTO Secretary-General Nikolai Bordyuzha about the need to discuss the issue in December.
